Do the following:
  On your iSeries (AS/400):
    Create save file QGPL/AL10297 on your AS/400.
       CRTSAVF  QGPL/AL10297
.
On your PC:
  If you received this update as a PC Zip file, do the following:
    Unzip the file AL10297.ZIP
.
    Put the file AL10297.sav in a folder on your PC, such as C:\TEMP
.
    Use FTP to transfer the file AL10297.sav to the save file
    QGPL/AL10297.
.
    Go to "Applying this update:"
.

    Sample FTP session:
       On the PC, click Windows Start, select Run and type:
         FTP as400name (where as400name is the IP address of your
                        AS/400 or the name known on your network)
         You will be prompted for your user id and password.
         Type "bin" or "binary" to set FTP to binary mode.
         Type "lcd c:\temp" to set the folder containing the update.
         Type "put AL10297.sav qgpl/AL10297"
              to transfer the file.
         Type "quit" to end the FTP session.

    Having trouble starting an FTP session?
       Make sure the iSeries AS/400 FTP Server is started.  You can
       start the server with the command:
         STRTCPSVR SERVER(*FTP)

If you received this update on an AS/400 tape, do the following:

    Go to "Applying this update:"

If you received this update on an AS/400 CDROM, do the following:

    Go to "Applying this update:"

Applying this update:
.
  On the AS/400, use the commands:
   Type STRPACIOLI MENU(SUPPORT) and press Enter.
.
  On menu ALSHELP, select option "1. Go to the Restricted Mode Menu"
   and press Enter.  If another user is working with Pacioli/400,
   you will get a message.  Press Enter to see who is using Pacioli/400
   and ask them to exit the application.  Try again.

  Apply the update:
  On menu ALSHELPR, select option "1. Apply an update" and press Enter.
   For 'Update . .', type AL10297
   For 'Device . .', leave as *SAVF if downloaded the update to a
                           save file, or
                     type TAP01 if you received the update on tape, or
                     type OPT01 if you received the update on CD-ROM.
   Press Enter to apply the update.

You should delete library AL10297 when done as it is no longer needed.
  On the AS/400, use the command:
    DLTLIB  LIB(AL10297)
The savefile QGPL/AL10297 could be deleted as well.
  On the AS/400, use the command:
    DLTF  FILE(QGPL/AL10297)
You will also have the original ZIP file on your PC plus any
unzipped files that you may want to remove.
